MuckRock’s 2026 sunshine season roundup: Tools and tips for transparency
The roundup collects what came out of this year’s NICAR conference and the trainings around it: panels on using large language models in public records work, tracking dark money, and the practical problems reporters and watchdogs run into when they file. It is aimed at people who actually file requests rather than people who write about transparency in the abstract.
