The Southampton Village Board voted unanimously on April 21 to back the paired bills. Mayor Bill Manger said residents would see a village notice the day it was posted instead of waiting for the next print edition. The open question is reach: a village website is faster, and a legal-notices page in a newspaper still lands in front of people who do not go looking for it, including residents without reliable internet.
