New York Coalition For Open Government President Paul Wolf said being able to see and hear meetings is an important part of government transparency regardless of whether people
can attend meetings in person or not.
“If the town of Malta is currently livestreaming their town board meetings, there is no legitimate reason to not livestream Planning Board meetings as well. The Town Board and the Planning Board should fully embrace transparency by livestreaming all meetings.”
