Erie County legislator Lindsey Lorigo has introduced an interesting item called the Meetings Transparency Act.
The Act would require all Erie County boards, commissions, committees, and advisory committees to:
– provide 7 days notice of their meetings
– take and post meeting minutes online
– audio or video record meetings and post online
– there should be opportunities for public comment
