City responds to salary lawsuit, calling it 'inherently baseless'
New documents in the lawsuit over the legality of pay raises for city officials raise questions about whether certain meetings should be open to the public.
“I find that to be pretty shocking that we can have three elected officials conduct a meeting behind closed doors by phone,” said Paul Wolf from the NY Coalition for Open Government.

Attorneys for the city say that claims made are “inherently baseless.”
