Zoom Training on Executive Sessions

The New York Open Meetings Law allows public bodies to meet behind closed doors for very limited reasons. All too often executive sessions are held for improper reasons and motions to hold them are incorrectly done.
 
On Thursday October 19th, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, the NY Coalition For Open Government will be holding a Zoom training regarding executive sessions.
 
Paul Wolf who is an attorney and the President of the NY Coalition for Open Government, will explain what the law requires and answer questions. This hour long session is free and open to the public. You can register to attend through the link below.

Paul is the founder of the NY Coalition For Open Government and has truly loved seeing it become what it is today and is excited about its future growth.

As an attorney for 32 years, he is a partner in the law firm of Berzer & Wolf. Prior to his private law practice, Paul served in several government positions with the Buffalo Common Council, Buffalo Housing Authority, and Erie County.

When he is not practicing law and doing open government stuff, Paul enjoys spending time with his spouse, Cheryl, and his three children, Michael, Joseph, and Julia. Paul resides in Amherst, NY, a suburb of Buffalo.
