Open government group criticizes Hochul’s record on transparency
ALBANY — An open government group blasted Gov. Kathy Hochul last week for what it said was her failure to make meaningful changes to improve government transparency.
The New York Coalition for Open Government did a press release pointing out the open government crisis that exists in NY State and that Governor Hochul seems to be oblivious about it.

In response Hochul released a lame statement that she signed a single bill in 2021 and in 2022 directed state agencies to create transparency plans.
